Mural PALERMO PALERMO - Elberfelder Str. 23
The Pina Bausch dance piece PALERMO PALERMO from 1989, created on a trip to Palermo and in co-production with the Teatro Biondo Stabile, Palermo, and Andres Neumann International, meets Andrea Buglisi from Palermo, who cultivates his very own, collage-like pop art style.
For this mural, the artist was inspired by a photograph by Berlin photographer Oliver Look and focused on two dancers: Ophelia Young and Tsai Yu Chin. Buglisi found both dancers to be particularly powerful and expressive in their dynamic movements.
