Pina Bausch's 1978 dance piece CAFE MÜLLER explores the complexity of human relationships and the loneliness of the individual. Case Maclaim from Frankfurt was inspired by the photograph taken by French press photographer Anne-Christine Poujoulat - recorded in 1995 during a performance in the south of France.
