NILS WESTERGARD is a Belgian-American street artist and filmmaker from Richmond, Virginia. He started with graffiti at a young age. Nowadays he lives in Amsterdam, travels the world and leaves his drip art all over the world. Mostly it is friends he portrays or simply good encounters that he immortalizes in this way.

The creation of the DOMINION mural on the Hofaue in the Elberfeld-Mitte district is the result of a conversation with the Urban Art Complex dance school. Young hip-hop dancers with a migration background between expectation and prejudice - who have found their expression in urban dance. The mural shows a falcon with a hood and stands for the marginalization of minorities by a majority society that likes to use the advantages but prefers to push away the disadvantages.
